The purpose of production activities is to create added value, which also applies to gear manufacturing, and value-added creation through production control to achieve QCD (Quality, Cost, Quantity and Deadline), including everything obtained from the procurement of raw materials such as cylindrical gears and round bars for square wood products for rack packaging and transportation, i.e. gears.

There are many areas involved in the production process required for gear manufacturing, but general examples that can be given include: cutting the material with a cutting machine, processing the material with a lathe, cutting cylindrical gear teeth with a hobbing machine, and cutting the rack with a rack panel. For example, using a gear forming machine to cut internal gear teeth, deburring and blackening, etc.

In the gear manufacturing process other than the above manufacturing, processing methods such as injection molding, sintering, rolling, and casting are also used. In addition, polishing, tempering, surface treatment, tooth shape measurement, and inspection with 3D measuring equipment are also integral parts of production activities.

As in other industries, whether it's made to stock or to order, optimizing manufacturing through improvements is essential for gear manufacturing.
