Backlash-free drives with ball screws and the computer-calculated gearbox achieve the best results in terms of smooth running and gearing quality. The machine can work in synchronous rotation and counter-rotation.

The rack grinding machine

The control of the Rack grinding machine RG 2400 is performed via a Siemens control 840D sl. The CNC control on the RG 2400 can freely control up to 6 axes and the main spindle. The data exchange takes place via an Ethernet interface. Siemens servo drives are used. By swivelling the feed carriage on the pivoting table, it is possible to establish helical gearing of up to 25°in both directions.
