Characteristics

High Precision:

DIN 8 class precision racks feature strict manufacturing tolerances, ensuring accurate tooth profile and pitch. They are suitable for high-precision applications.

Excellent Comprehensive Mechanical Properties:

Typically made of high-strength steel, these racks undergo quenching and tempering treatment to enhance hardness, toughness, wear resistance, and impact resistance.

Strong Adaptability:

They can be matched with various types of gears, servo motors, and drive systems to meet the needs of different mechanical transmission systems. Additionally, they can be installed in a butt-jointed manner to achieve any length, adapting to different working stroke requirements.

FAQ

How to install the racks?

Position and Fasten the Rack:

First, place the rack on the mounting base, use locating pins for initial positioning, and then fasten the rack to the mounting surface with fasteners such as bolts to prevent displacement during installation.

Adjust Rack Clearance:

During assembly, the clearance between two racks must be adjusted to match the pitch, ensuring accurate meshing between the gear and rack. Professional measuring tools, such as a pitch gauge, can be used for measuring and adjusting the clearance.

Position the Subsequent Rack:

Use a reverse tooth gauge to position the next rack, ensuring consistent tooth profile and pitch between adjacent racks for stable transmission.

Check Parallelism:

Inspect each interface one by one, and use a round bar to detect the parallelism of the rack. Ensure that the overall straightness and parallelism of the rack meet requirements after installation, avoiding poor transmission or accelerated wear caused by installation errors.

Fit and Ream Rack Pin Holes and Install Locating Pins:

After inspection, fit and ream the rack pin holes, then install locating pins to further fix the rack and prevent loosening or displacement during long-term use.

Equipments

Main Production Equipment

The main equipment consists of rack milling machines and grinding     machines are imported from Germany.

The rack grinding machine

The control of the Rack grinding machine RG 2400 is performed via a Siemens control 840D sl. The CNC control on the RG 2400 can freely control up to 6 axes and the main spindle. The data exchange takes place via an Ethernet interface. Siemens servo drives are used. By swivelling the feed carriage on the pivoting table, it is possible to establish helical gearing of up to 25°in both directions.
